AT&T Pledges $250,000 to Aid Communities Impacted by California Wildfires
AT&T* is donating $250,000 to aid local charities and relief organizations in areas impacted by California wildfires. As fire conditions and community needs continue to develop, AT&T is working with local officials to direct the funding to the local nonprofit organizations where it will have the greatest impact in communities affected by wildfires.
“We have disaster recovery teams in place to keep our customers connected, and we've been working around the clock with first responders to help impacted communities through this crisis,” said Ken McNeely, President, Pacific Region, AT&T Communications. “California is our home and we all need to do our part when our friends and neighbors are in need.”
AT&T Community Response Teams are also assisting customers and evacuees at shelters in Napa, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sonoma, and Yuba City providing wifi, charging solutions, phones for use, account support, live news via DirecTV Now, and snacks and water.
Free AT&T PREPAID phones with a $25 pin are also available while supplies last for landline customers without wireless service, available at shelter locations via our community response teams, or at AT&T retail locations.
