We are closing out the year just the way we started it: connecting people to opportunity. From connecting technologies of the future to supporting our veterans, at its core, this is what all of us at AT&T do every day.

I am so proud of what we have accomplished this year in Colorado, and as I look forward to 2018, I am excited for what is to come. But before we get to January, I want to wish all of you, your family and your friends a happy holiday season and a happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Roberta Robinette

AT&T Donates $20,000 to the National Sports Center for the Disabled

Sports

In celebration of Veterans Day, AT&T contributed $20,000 to the National Sports Center for the Disabled, located in Denver and Winter Park. In November, the NSCD held an interactive Veterans Day Ability Clinic, featuring curling and sled hockey drills adapted for those who have disabilities. The Warrior Avs Sled Hockey Team and the Denver Curling Club both provided demonstration and instruction for the group of 25 military veterans, giving them the chance to experience Paralympic training firsthand. Media coverage of the event is available at KUSA – NBC Affiliate; The Denver Post and Sky-Hi News

AT&T’s contribution will support the NSCD’s winter programs for military veterans in 2018. This is part of a $500,000 total contribution AT&T is making to local organizations across the country who serve veterans and active duty military personnel. With the funds donated by AT&T, the NSCD will kick off 2018 by providing a Paralympic Experience Day for Military Veterans with Disabilities on Jan. 10, 2018 at the YMCA of the Rockies — Snow Mountain Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. The event will be free to veterans with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, giving them a one-of-a-kind experience.
