Prior to becoming President of AT&T New England, Ms. Jacobs held numerous leadership positions at the company including Vice President for International Public Affairs, where she lead international initiatives and corporate reputation campaigns globally, and Regional Vice President for Federal Public Affairs, where she worked on several mergers and a wide range of federal legislative and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining AT&T, Ms. Jacobs served as an aide to Congressman Edward J. Markey (D-MA), and as a member of the staff of the Massachusetts Senate’s Commerce and Labor Committee.
Ms. Jacobs is a member of the Massachusetts Women’s Leadership Forum, and is on the Board of Directors for the New England Council, the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, and Associated Industries of Massachusetts, and on the Leadership Council for Home Base. She is a native New Englander, born in North Kingston, Rhode Island; raised in Brunswick, Maine; and has called Massachusetts home for the past two decades.
Ms. Jacobs holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Boston College. She lives in Belmont, Massachusetts with her three children.
