This month, we are proud to announce AT&T* Fixed Wireless Internet¹ is now available in rural and underserved locations in parts of 44 counties in Georgia.

Our Fixed Wireless Internet is a cost-effective way to deploy high-quality, high-speed internet to customers living in rural and hard to reach locations. This service delivers an internet connection with download speeds of 10Mbps or faster from a wireless tower to a fixed antenna on a customers’ home or business in the FCC-identified census blocks. It is $60 per month standalone with a one-year agreement and just $50 per month if bundled with another AT&T service.

Parts of the following 44 counties in Georgia are now eligible for AT&T Fixed Wireless Internet service: Appling, Baker, Bleckley, Burke, Butts, Carroll, Chattahoochee, Cook, Crisp, Decatur, Dodge, Echols, Elbert, Emanuel, Evans, Fulton, Greene, Hancock, Haralson, Jasper, Jeff Davis, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, Lamar, Lanier, Laurens, Lee, Lowndes, McDuffie, Miller, Mitchell, Monroe, Morgan, Pierce, Pike, Sumter, Thomas, Toombs, Ware, Warren, Washington, Wayne and Worth.

Quote1Once again, Georgia is leading the way, welcoming innovation and investment and enhancing broadband access in our rural communities.

And, more than 19,000 AT&T employees who call Georgia home are working hard every day to turn our investments into the high-speed connectivity Georgia’s residents and businesses want and need.

Quote2In Georgia, AT&T plans to reach over 26,000 locations with this technology by end of year, and over 67,000 locations across Georgia by 2020. Through this innovative service, AT&T is proud to further close the remaining connectivity gap.

To determine Fixed Wireless Internet eligibility, interested consumers may call toll-free 1-877-990-0041. AT&T will continue making community-specific announcements in Georgia in the months ahead, providing updates about additional availability as we expand Fixed Wireless Internet to more locations.
