Donation to support “Grow Quad Cities” small business recovery efforts

In response to historic flooding in eastern Iowa and western Illinois AT&T* is donating $10,000 to the Grow Quad Cities fund to support the disaster relief efforts of the Quad Cities Chamber.

“We are grateful to AT&T for its contribution,” said Paul Rumler, President & CEO, Quad Cities Chamber. “Our business community was hard hit by the flooding and clean-up and repairs are extensive. We’re fortunate that so many residents and businesses such as AT&T have generously contributed to aid in recovery. Every little bit helps.”

“As a member of the local business community, we are proud to contribute $10,000 to the Grow Quad Cities Fund to aid in the recovery effort and help businesses get back on their feet.” —Dustin Blythe, director-External Affairs, AT&T Iowa

“The historic flooding that swept through the Quad Cities had an especially devastating impact on small business in the area,” said Dustin Blythe, director-External Affairs, AT&T Iowa. “As a member of the local business community, we are proud to contribute $10,000 to the Grow Quad Cities Fund to aid in the recovery effort and help businesses get back on their feet.”

The donation will assist the Quad Cities Chamber in their efforts to help small business in the Quad Cities area recover following flooding in the six-county, bi-state region.

In addition to the financial donation, AT&T retail stores in Davenport and Moline have also been taking donations of cleaning supplies for flood relief and clean-up. AT&T will deliver donated and other essential items to the Red Cross.
