Mayo Flynt is President of AT&T Mississippi, a position he has held since January 2007. As president, Mayo is responsible for AT&T's operations in Mississippi including external affairs, regulatory affairs and public policy.
Prior to this appointment, Mayo held a series of positions within BellSouth of increasing responsibility for regulatory and legislative affairs on the state and federal levels as well as internationally.
He is a past-chairman of the Mississippi Economic Council, the Mississippi Partnership for Economic Development, and the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership where he currently chairs the Lake Development Task Force. Mayo is the 2013-15 chairman of Innovate Mississippi and serves on the boards of directors for the Mississippi Museum of Art, Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, the University of Mississippi Foundation as well as Governor Bryant’s Mississippi Works and Mississippi Broadband Connect Coalition. Mayo is a member of the Jackson Rotary Club.
Mayo holds a degree in finance from the University of Mississippi. He and his wife, Renee, have two daughters, Sarah and Olivia.
