Technology and learning go hand in hand. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to the internet at home, making it hard for kids to do homework and learn at their own pace and for families to stay up to date and connect with teachers.
That’s why The National PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and AT&T have teamed up to help close the “homework gap” and ensure SNAP-eligible families in select states1 have the resources they need for children to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Through their collaboration, National PTA and AT&T will help qualifying families connect to low-cost internet service through Access from AT&T. The Access program offers those families a 10Mbps internet connection at home for $10 per month.2 You can visit ATT.com/Access for full details.
Together, the National PTA and AT&T will also teach parents how students are using digital technology in the classroom. Families will get tips about using technology and the internet to support their child's education at home. For example, the AT&T Digital You® portal includes English and Spanish language resources and tools for getting online, using technology safely, using online learning sites, job searching and more.
